For Crying Out Loud!

Hey all, this is Motoko posting.

This is from the BBC news website “It said Cumbria is at most risk overnight and has already issued 45 flood warnings across the UK. South-west Scotland also faces downpours. “

Now it’s always wet in Cumbria, and we always get flooding. Why must they always make our weather something to always talk about. It gets boring after I hear the words “flooding” and “Cumbria” used together.

Apart from that little rant, me and Jenny are fine. Work was long today and slightly damp with all this rain. But that’s what waterproof clothing is for isn’t so the rain doesn’t bother us much, and the yard waterproofs are really very good. Made by a company called Ocean and they are old style oil skin type waterproofs. Work better than most of this so called “technical” clothing you see so much of now-a-days.

End of the working week for us tomorrow, can’t say I am sorry this time as I had to work some of the time on the days that I don’t normally work so I am shattered at the moment. Friday morning with luck will be a lay-in and then as a rare treat to myself and Jenny I will probably cook us a full English breakfast.
